Everything from the view. The room (comfy bed,great shower). The food was delicious (thanks Claire who helped out with the menu 😊. The breakfast offered you lots of choice. We would recommend and will come back again.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

It was the most beautiful self-catering cottage we’ve had in Scotland so far. Small, but lovely, tasteful interior, comfy beds, huge fluffy towels, nice views, quiet, a parking space just in front of the wee terrace. Everything was hassle free, and even our dog enjoyed our stay a lot. We sure will come back and recommend it to our friends.

I would have loved to have a few additional items in the kitchen, first and foremost a soup ladle, a smaller and finer sieve, a whisk (or a blender) and a larger pot or wok. I had to improvise a bit when cooking, but that's complaining on a ridiculous level.

On arrival we were not met with a friendly welcome. I found the manager to be rather rude and unwelcoming. We went to the bar for a drink which was rather unorganised. The room was comfortable with a fantastic bed and bathroom but felt very mismatched. The room just lacked that cosy feeling. There was not enough milk for our coffee and had to go to reception in the morning. Not something you expect to have to do. A beautiful place but it didn't quite live up to my expectations

The location is amazing, in quite a village just in front of the lake. It's such a good place for the relaxing days off. The hotel has a cute terrace with a nice view. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. Very good and not usual selection of drinks, staff give good advices on what to choose.

Breakfast was terrible. It was the worst breakfast we ever had in the hotel. Menu looked great, but the quality of served food was bellow unacceptable. We ordered Scottish breakfast and royal eggs. Royal eggs had very old dry muffins, which was hard even to cut. Poached eggs were so overcooked. Scotish breakfast had very cheap, low quality sausages and black pudding. Amount of beans - was just to laugh about. In total was dry. Also we were forced to book breakfast for 9.15 - and got food served only around 10 . Dinner ( we did a la carte) - food was OK, but can't describe it as "very tasty." All the dishes looked fantastic, but taste didn't match expectations. My stomach got quite upset during the dinner after starters.

Cosy home from home feel with all the facilities that we needed staff were so friendly couldn’t do enough! Food at the restaurant was also great!

A bath would have been great.. but it was a great shower!

Everything! We really had a wonderful stay! The room, the dinner, the breakfast and the service! Highly recommended!
