"Amazing example of period architecture. A lovely place to stay."

I loved the architecture. Great location. Wonderful view of the parent house. Short walk to old town shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the Green Lily for breakfast.

I wish the dinning room had been open so I could have seen that part of the house. It was included in photos of the property but was barricaded off while I was there. Would not have paid extra for the private bath if I had it to do again. No real benefit. The other bathroom was nicer and there were only 1 or two other guests. Hand towels in bathroom stained.

"Would give this one a miss in future"

Wanted to like this, but was honestly disappointed. . All of its facilities are so dated, and there were various work going on the mansion. Did all the check in ourselves as this was unstaffed beyond 6pm so walked into a completely pitch dark mansion at 7pm was not exactly a warm welcome.

I love the history! Jacqueline was a great hostess who detailed the history of the Pinc Mansion! We really enjoyed the historic value of the property.

"Not To Be Missed Stay in a Lovely Historic Home"

Hosts were magnificently friendly. We were given a wonderful tour with history of the beautiful house. Our room was beyond our expectations. We had a full front view of the Carson Mansion from our turret windows. We had a private bathroom with plenty of hot water. Our room was both comfortable and beautiful.

Certainly not something that would keep us from returning but I will say the bathroom was really cold and I would have loved to be able to soak in the tub.

The house couldn’t have been more beautiful and clean.

Unfortunately there is no private parking and there was loud noise from people outside in the middle of the night. Don’t know if it was just the night we stayed or a regular thing
