Casa Quadra Dique

The villa is no doubt beautiful. It’s clearly a beautiful home, with very high end appliances and was an absolute delight to stay in. The pool area was lovely, the lounge was ideal and kitchen again very well equipped. We really thought it was a lovely property. Bbq area great, beautiful views. Lovely decor and list such a beautful and wonderful space. Great gym idea, which we used.

Sadly, we have to say that of the 5 bedrooms, two are located not on the ground floor, but in the basement, which is a converted garage next to the gym. There is very little natural night, it’s very damp and the smell from the gym is quite overwhelming. We were told to open the garage door to vent the rooms, but this did little at night. We felt a quite short changed and annoyed that this didn’t seem as advertised. The children (5 and 7) were unable to be left down in the basement at night due to the darkness and damp, and therefore slept in a double room on the top floor. Along with grandparents, it meant we (parents) were forced to the basement, or “dungeon” due to the bars on the slotted windows. This is 2 floors below the top floor and not ideal. Very separate from the rest of the house. We felt very disappointed that such a beautiful house, although done well, would consider these rooms as of value as the other 3. I would suggest that these rooms be only used as emergency rooms, not sold as functioning rooms. The owners would also benefit from a simple paper document in the villa for things like WiFi codes, pool cover usage, etc as this was sent via a text message and not practical when arriving late.

La tranquillité et les espaces

From the moment we booked our host were helpful and always available to answer any questions. On arrival at the airport our contacts responded quickly and met us early at the villa to show us around. Throughout the stay they were always on hand to help out and cater for any of our needs. A quiet, peaceful location, the villa is not overlooked and there is a stunning view from the pool and terrace areas. It is close to restaurants, and supermarkets (10 mins) and about half an hour from large shopping complex's, and Tavira and Vilamoura, which are definitely worth a visit. The villa is outstanding for decor, comfort, and very well equipped with a/c throughout. The pool, gym, ping pong and darts provided us with endless entertainment. As a family staying there of three generations I would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and certainly hope to return. Thank you for your hospitality.

The property was spacious and full of life, pool was amazing, the scenery was magnificent .. the bedrooms were spacious, everything was amazing, I came here for my 30th birthday and I honestly couldn’t have booked a better place to spend it.
