Everything was perfect Comfortable, cozy with great touches. Lovely interior, detailed instructions for everything.

I liked everything

The cottage is really nice and comfy. I had everything I needed. The plumbing is a little noisy but everything works perfectly well. The road to get to the cottage may be challenging for new drivers. I liked it.

The location, the quirky arrangement of a small stone house and the view. So many thoughtful items left for us to use.

The shower although new was a bit tricky to work out but that is a very small point.

It is a little stone built cottage up on the hills. The house was really warm and thoughtfully supplied with everything we needed. We really enjoyed ourselves: the fabulous views, the house and the very warm welcome.

As anyone who has read my discription will know I very rarely compliment anywhere for the service they provide. Knoll Top Cottage is the exception that proves the rule. I arrived and was greeted by Karen the owner in person and she showed me in to a spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautiful historic cottage, being the perfect host, she'd provided some milk in the fridge and a jar of homemade jam as treat for breakfast. The facilities were first class and the cottage made me feel comfortable and ready to relax. The living room was cosy with two sofas, one of which was a sofa bed for additional guests and a TV. A flame effect fire added to the ambiance without the need to light a log burning stove. The kitchenette was well apointed with everything that could be needed including a microwave, an air fryer and hob. The bedroom was clean comfortable with a good sized wardrobe, the ensuite comprising of a wash basin, toilet and shower was spotless with fresh towels and a heated towel rail. There is an outdoor area with a pond with a bench to sit and another to have a picnic next to a fire pit. Although this was a week long business trip I'm hoping to stay for a long weekend break to relax in the near future.

There was nothing I didn't like about this stay.

Beautiful location, really comfortable stay. Very well thought out with lots of nice little details in the cottage. We want to come back again and stay for a bit longer.
