Nice Apartment close to everything

The place is very clean and well-equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful, and I have no doubt that they will try their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Easy to get a bus into Malmö centre.

It was impossible to sleep in the sofa even with the mattresses given by the owner. So we slept on the floor and the mattresses of the bunk beds were uncomfortable and creaking. The studio has no direct view. It’s only velux windows. So we couldn't see outside and we felt oppressed. A lot of moisture in the bathroom. We didn’t feel welcome because we received a list of forbidden activities : not to enter in the garden, no to park in the driveway. It’s asked to clean up the studio before leaving but the vacuum cleaner has a battery of 2 mn. The TV is just a screen with no channels. As it explained in Booking, no towels and bedlinen included. When we paid 1 300 euros for 6 days, we thought it should have been included. We've just came from Stockholm where we got a villa of 200 m2 with everything.for 1000 €uro for 6 days! To sum up much more expensive for the quality of the service and the category of the accomodation.

Decent, fairly modern appartment with a small bedroom with two bunk beds and a sofabed in the living room (which we did not use). Basic but adequate cooking equipment. Quiet residential street with parking available on street (parking on the large drive was not allowed, despite lots of space being available - not sure why). The hosts were responsive and quick to answer any questions.

Despite it being called 'Appartment close to everything' - I would disagree with the statement (I guess it's open to interpretation). It's located in deep suburbia (which is fine) - but the nearest grocery store is a 20 min walk away (large Coop) and the nearest bus stops into town are 12-15 min walk away. Bed linens and towels were not included (Extra charge of €9 per person for bedding and €5 per person for towels) - this is disappointing, especially for the price, but accommodation in Malmö does seem rather expensive compared with other Swedish towns (even Stockholm was cheaper!!). The place was clean, but not spotless (dust on TV table and dirty corner in bathroom with a slightly grotty toilet brush). The mattresses had stains and no mattress protectors. The bunk beds were adequate, but very creaky with thin mattresses. Pillows were cheap and lumpy (we used our own instead). The sofa in the living room was not very comfortable to sit on and probably worse to sleep on as the host advised us to use a couple of spare mattresses on top to make it more comfortable. We did not use this during our stay. The check-in instructions were a little off-putting with a long list of 'Don't Do's' regarding parking and the garden not to be used under any circumstances, it being camera-monitored, as well as a list of cleaning to be done on check-out if wishing to avoid a cleaning charge. Not a brilliant welcome! Doesn't give you that warm hospitable feeling. However, the hosts themselves were nice when we met them (they live in the large house next door). Despite asking guests to hoover and mop before check-out, the hoover provided was not fit for purpose - it was a battery/ chargeable one, that only worked for 3 mins before conking out, the hosts said they were aware and a new one was on order. Overall, the stay was fine for a couple of nights to see Malmö, but would probably not choose for a longer stay.

The renovated bungalow/studio is well maintained and located in a quiet environment. The kitchen is well equipped with very basic, but good and responsive IKEA induction plates.

The basic IKEA furniture (sofa/beds) is a bit worn out and could use an upgrade. However, it still aligns with the accommodation's low price. The lighting above the kitchen workbench and sink is insufficient. Overall, it is acceptable.

Weather was that day beautiful in Malmö

The thing that bothered me most was that the owner of the place was very annoying and was sending messages even very late. When we arrived and after waiting for about ten minutes, his wife came to receive us. I asked her if it was possible for my little son, who is only 4 years old, to play in the garden, and her answer was disrespectful in front of the child by saying: The word NO and an uncivilized approach. As they claim, parking is free. This is not true. I had to park the car on the street, and it is not allowed near the apartment, even though there is room for 3 or 4 cars. Before leaving, the owner of the place sent me messages telling me how to leave the place clean, and I had to throw away the garbage as if I were from another planet, and this is unacceptable and not professional work. As for the sleeping beds, they were very bad and chirped all the time while sleeping, and we forced the whole family to sleep on the floor for two days. Even the sofa for sleeping was incredibly worn out and dirty, in fact, it was not suitable for sleeping at all. Neither I nor my family were comfortable in that place. I don't recommend it.

The space was clean and modern. The owner was quick to respond to questions. The location was nice in a quiet neighborhood with free parking.

The sofa bed was not in great condition and the pillows were not great quality. There is a new heating system that did not work all the time. Bed linens and towels were extra (noted in the fine print of the listing, however the cost is not posted) and we had to make the beds ourselves. We paid 8 euros per person for a two night stay for sheets and duvet covers. I don’t know how much more it would have been for towels. We also had to clean the property so it was ready for their next guests. With these fine print conditions for the guests, it is a pretty great set up for the owners.
