Hola Beach Resort

Wow. Our own little house at the beach. We looooved it there. The room was super basic but clean. Good working AC and fan.

The shower had only 1 position, just straight forward. So it was a bit of a challenge to wash my hair :-) And by scooter it's around 20min to the centre. But on the other side, it felt really peaceful and silent

Gorgeous location right on the beach front! Staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we asked about ferries to other islands. You can also rent scooters directly from them making travelling around the island super easy

The scooters were not fueled up at all meaning we had to pay extra - don’t be fooled by the petrol station workers and fill up the full tank! We drove around for 3 hours approx and only needed half a tank

For the best sea view, request one of the cabins by the shore. However, the downside is that those cabins may not be as well maintained, possibly because they are closer to the water. The bathrooms could have been cleaned better. There were black marks around the sink faucet and on the shower tiles. Unfortunately, I was not able to take photos because our schedule was very hectic. The cabinets and tables also needed dusting, and the floors could have used a proper mopping. Also there’s always trash by the seashore bcz of other guests who are not considerate and plus the surrounding communities and a lot of dogs going around, if they have a dedicated person maintaining the grounds that would help the cleanliness by the shore. I think the cabins on the inland back of the restaurant is more maintained. Service at the restaurant was slow, mainly because they only had one cook. By around 6:00 PM, there were mosquitoes everywhere. It would have been helpful if they had more insect or mosquito repellents placed around the restaurant area. They only had one small tabletop repellent on the counter, which did not really help. Because of that, we only ordered coffee there in the morning after our first experience. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Price is good.

Cleaning of the cabins and shoreline can be improved.

Beautiful and calm area out back where we stayed in one of the A-frame huts. Free hot and cold water refill station by their onsite restaurant/bar area. Parking area out front for those renting scooters.

Without a scooter you're a bit out of the way, but still able to walk if you don't mind the distance.

Ich mochte diese Unterkunft auf unserer Reise am liebsten. Wir hatten an Unterkünften alles dabei vom Luxushotel bis zum einfachen Zummer. Hola Beach war mir am liebsten und besticht durch Herzlichkeit, einen tollen entspannten Vibe und eine ruhige Lage direkt am Strand oder im schönen Grün. Manchmal ist es genau das was man braucht. Wir hatten einen Strandbungalow, der für uns alles hatte was wir benötigten, sogar mit super Klimaanlage. Ich möchte mich bei allen Mitarbeitern des Hola Beach bedanken die uns bei allem so toll geholfen haben.

Petit incident casque de moto disparu dans la nuit, pas possible de voir les caméras, mais l'hôtel nous a finalement donné un de leur casque pour remplacer l'autre...

We had an amazing stay at Hola! The room smells so nice. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was very peaceful. The surroundings are very clean.

The Wifi connection in our room is very weak 🥲. The Room we stayed was pretty good, but i just wished it has a mirror inside because it was so hard to have nothing. The Air conditioner was also noisy, it gives us a hard time to rest and sleep soundly.

Sehr hübsche Anlage und tolle Hütten :) Gemeinschaftsbereiche wurden täglich sauber gemacht. Direkter Zugang zu einem süßen, kleinen Strand. Rollervermietung war schnell und unkompliziert:)

Ohne Roller ist die Lage vielleicht etwas schwierig, mit aber kein Problem
