Værøy Old Airport

The location is excellent. It is a place where you can meditate and feel nature to the core. The bedding was excellent.

It would have been good some blinders in the upper living room.

Emplacement et vue exceptionnels. La maison est sublime et cosy. Tout est pensé pour que le séjour soit inoubliable. Le sauna est la cerise sur le gâteau qui est déjà parfait ! Notre hôte a fait tout son possible pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions.

The location was fantastic. One side was the sea and the other side was the fjord/mountain.

The location is AMAZING! It was really easy to communicate with the host! We also had the sauna, which added another great experience to the whole trip.

The smell in the bathroom was awfull the first days. The coffee machine was not clean, the coffee filter was full of old coffee. It might feel a bit not so private, as many people are driving by the property on their way to the camping spot, some even stopping by. In one of the rooms, the sheets were full of stains.

Perfect location in the north of Værøy. Good starting point for hiking too. Perfect view from the house. Also ideal for watching the white tailed eagle. Sauna is very nice too.

Good facilities at a nice location, beautiful scenery. Nice and large bathroom and kitchen area.

Unfortunately the resident was not cleaned when we showed up for check-in. We first arrived early and asked for early checkin, was granted access and found the place understandably not cleaned and bed sheets clearly unchanged. Left the host a message and left the location to come back after later in the afternoon well after the designated checkin time. However, the resident was still not cleaned when we arrived back. We were told this was due to a misunderstanding, and the cleaning personell showed up very quickly to get to work, requesting an hour to do the work at around 5-6 pm. This unfortunately debilitated our short stay but may of course not be a recurring problem. These is a camping site at the old airport, and quite come car tourism passing very close by in the summer season. Several times people mistook the cabin for a public area with toilets, however none were rude and none actually entered our cabin as they realized the mistake getting close enough.

The view from every single window in the house was so amazing. the laundry machine works well and there were detergent and softner as well. The kitchen was wide enough to cook. Wifi was pretty reliable.

there were so many cars passing around and people come having a look around this house like "what is this place?" "is this toilet?"... it is very private, remote but that also makes people think it's public facility or toilet... The view from the house is wonderful but most of the windows have big spiders. I should have checked it on booking.com already when I book it but there was no towels. With this price per day I think people could expect a couple of towels. The basin in bathroom was almost blocked or very slow to drain when we wash our hands. The contact with host to ask check out information took hours to get reply.
