- The host is friendly & communicative, both in real life and via chat. - The room has an excellent location (short walk to town/central station/supermarket) and it's spacious for 2. - There are facilities for eating outside. - Good mosquito prevention, many nets + devices for preventing. Tip: include a fly swatterer. - The mattress for the bed was fine.

- Major humidity problem. This was our main issue. Even with windows open, humidity persisted. We had to put the AC on every time we came back, the mattress & pillows felt moist due to the insanely high humidity level of the room. This was by far the biggest issue. - Noise: there are so many things causing noise. The fridge, the neighbourhood, machinery outside (whirrs and buzzing sounds at midnight/1AM). Add to that you will most certainly be awoken by the screaming Italian neighbours in the morning around 8. - The pillows are old, way too soft and should be replaced. - Insects: there are ants in several places in the room, and other insects also get in sometimes.

The host, Maurizio, was super nice and helpful. I was allowed to bring my luggage before check-in

Everything was great, the apartment is conveniently located, close to the train station and the historic city center.

in colder months it gets humid inside, as the apartment is a bit below ground level. the AC can be turned into a heater which works well for both making it warmer inside and less humid, but as soon as you turn it off, the humidity is returning in the apartment. it’s probably very convenient during warm months when everyone seeks places which are cooler, without a huge need to keep the AC on at all times.

Comfortable bed and good shower bathroom. Nice coffee machine and tea making facilities. Room size good for a few nights. The host accommodated us to keeping our luggage at the room when checking out which was really helpful as we had an evening return flight.

There wasn't adequate heating in the room as it was cold and on the ground floor. Noisy apartment upstairs can hear everything. The water system or something in the ceiling sometimes made noises throughout the day or night
