Ontur Butik Hotel

what I liked the most about the property was that it was within walking distance from Tunali street with all amazing shops and restaurants and about 30 minutes walk from Kizilay mall.

There were a few things that were really bothersome. First, not only the breakfast was very very very simple, but also the trays were not refilled once they finished!!! They said breakfast was served from 7:30 to 10:30, but the trays were empty by 10 and were never refilled!!!! Second, room cleaning service was actually a room make-up service! I had to stay there for 17 days and a pile of dust by the mirror (I mean a pile of dust you could write a story on it!!!) was not cleaned this whole time until I specifically asked for it!!!! There was a jacuzzi in the room and the glass windows were never cleaned this whole time!! Third, WIFI IS A DISASTER!! In fact, I read the reviews about bad wifi connection and contacted the hotel via Whatsapp about it. They assured me that the problem was gone but much to my surprise, it was not possible to connect!! I complained, and what I heard was that the Internet connection was bad because of the earthquake in the south of Turkey! that was an obvious lie because I was there the day before the earthquake and the same story with the wifi!!!!! Because internet connection was vital to me, I had to buy a Vodafone sim card for 400 TL. Fourth, one of the reviews said about the hotel being located uphill. Since I had a child in the pushchair, I contacted the hotel about it, and they said the hotel was not uphill, which was again a lie. John F Kennedy street is very uphill with a steep slope!!! Fifth, according to the hotel policy, they do not have tissues in the rooms!!! and you should buy it yourself or use toilet paper, as they suggested!!!! In addition, as we were checking out, the receptionist and one of the staff were sitting in the lobby, and they never lifted a finger to help move the suitcases or the pushchair down the stairs. However, the other two receptionists, a young woman and a tall man with a ponytail were very polite and helpful… screenshots of our chats are available!!!
