Lodge Villa Happo

This place is bang for your buck. You would be hard pressed to find a room for any cheaper. The Japanese woman running it is very friendly. The facility is very clean. Things to know: walk up the street 5 minutes for lawsons, shuttle/bus station, and beginning of bars and restaurants in town. There is a flier on the wall for hakuba on demand taxi app- very useful. Uber also works. Free hot instant coffee but also vending machine with inexpensive beer, water, canned coffee that is all good quality.

Room had everything we needed. The house Was clean and slippers were offered by the accommodation.

Spacious room. Clean. Helpful staff. Perfect location.

Gas heater can be replaced due to the odour issue. I cannot stand the smell when the gas heater is on.

Not too far a walk from the Lawson and Happo Bus Station Clean and comfortable

You have to leave your keys at the front desk when you go out. I expect this prevents guests from losing them when they're on the ski hill, but anyone could grab your key and go to your room when you're out
