Stylish Boatwright Cottage moments from beach by Whitstable-Holidays

Breakfast not included so irrelevant. Nice kitchen with access to patio. Sat out there often. Good for dog to go in and out. Parking is difficult but expected that. Whitstable is a pleasant place to stay with plenty of places to eat out or get take aways. Loved looking at the sea when on the beach. Paddled once. Ate one oyster. Quite pleasant. Museum is interesting. Enjoyed visiting other seaside places especially Sandwich and Broadstairs, which has a lovely sandy beach. Am keen on Charles Dickens. Howletts Zoo was fun. Canturbury Cathedral is wonderful. Went on the very frequent bus to there so no parking problems. Only about half an hour away. Lots of good shops there. Gardens by the river very pretty and enjoyed watching the punts go by.

Hot in bed with thick duvet. Could do with a top sheet under it to use alone if necessary. No map of Whistable which you really need as it is confusing getting about until you know it.

Lovely little cottage with all you need. Staff very receptive. Great location.

Unfortunately we were woken up at 6am each morning to the neighbours dog constantly barking, the adults shouting and each other and small child constantly screaming. This lasted for hours each day.

Fantastic Location, beautiful home and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Owners were very informative, excellent communication before the stay. Lovely dog friendly stay

It was clean and tidy.

Over priced. No milk, tea or coffee provided. to remote did not work. Preferred a TV in front lounge. Bathroom needs attention.

Beautiful house, well equipped, very clean & super location.

Only grip was that the double sockets in front bedroom didn’t work. It was bedside light or phone charger, not both!

Very convenient location for the town centre, harbour and beaches. Well equipped kitchen.

Finding free parking was a bit of a challenge, but found a place a couple of hundred metres away. The shower could do with some maintenance on the sealant. Better not to have photos of being next to the sea as this gives a misleading impression of where the house is located.

Washing machine - bathroom - heating

The neighbour - burning outside in their yard - very close to the fence - smoke pouring out and into all the open windows. The expletives from the occupants were quite disturbing / baby crying - the domestic violence the following morning was intense and lasted about an hour . The wine glasses and tea/coffee pot were not clean - had to run them through the dishwasher.

Excellent location and no traffic noise, car park close by. Small courtyard garden - if weather had been better we would have used. Hangers in bedrooms were very useful. Good comfortable seating areas

When we booked, it stated two bathrooms- but there is only one bathroom + a downstairs cloakroom. For only one night it was fine, longer would have been more inconvenient
