The staff was always prepared to comply with any request with a gracious smile. Never did we feel any commercial approaches from any staff. The view from the rooms is just out of this world. Breakfast was made to perfection. The restaurant is overlooking the valley and river. Could sit there for hours over a cup of tea. The surrounding vegetable and fruit trees and flower beds made the place seem like a haven. My five start review for the facility, staff and service.

The walk from reception to the rooms is on a incline and a little long. Elderly will surely have a serious issue but more rooms are being constructed a little above and I am sure the management will think of an easy pathway/car access.

Great location with amazing views. The rooms were spacious and clean. Tahir and his staff were extremely helpful and polite. The tea and garden apricots were delicious.

The mattresses were hard as rock. The staff was so uncooperative that they refused to provide even a single extra blanket to throw over the mattress. Breakfast was labelled 'complimentary' but only a couple of cheap options were available. The good options were expensive and unavailable, something that isn't mentioned when booking. That's a false advertisement. Extremely overpriced. A single can of coke was worth Rs 500. That's pricier than the posher options available (e.g. Himmel, Khoj). Also, there is not even a roadside sign/billboard/entrance sign or anything. It's just an anonymous little entrance. Very easy to miss. Also, booking.com listed it as 'pay at property' but staff refused to book without 30% prepayment. Again. Misleading information. False advertising.

Amazing location. Clean and new rooms. Excellent food. Best stay in Shigar.

Everything. Foremost, the beauty and the serenity. Built with wood, stone and glass, the facilities all blend in with and highlight the natural beauty of the environment. The view from our room was spectacular - from out on the balcony, snow-capped mountains in the distance framing the lush green valley, the Indus river flowing below. From the reception down to the rooms, there are crops and fruit trees, part and parcel of the sustainable ecosystem design. This is much more than a business. The designer and developer of the resort is a leading environmentalist. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner onsite, all organic and custom prepared according to our preferences by trained professional chefs. The staff appears eager to take care of guests’ needs - polite, attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay greatly and will try to stay here whenever back in the area.
