Penthouse in Trondheim City Centre

Central Location conveniently close to Trondheim S train station and Torvet main square where you'd find many shops & restaurants. Most places of interest are within easy walking distance: Nidaros Cathedral, Gamle Bybro and Bakklandet are just 10-15 mins away on foot. You can even reach Kristiansten Festning in about 30 mins. Apt was clean and spacious with balcony overlooking the city. Kitchen is equipped for self-catering and there are several grocery stores in the vicinity. Washing Machine is useful for guests needing to do laundry. Rooftop Terrace offers panoramic city views and is well worth a visit. 😊 Host Gina was obliging and responsive whenever I reached out to her with queries, appreciated her help❣️

Bit of a hassle having to pick up keys from a nearby deli when I was already struggling with heavy luggage; would have preferred on-site key collection. 😉 Apt had some maintenance issues with faulty fixtures that didn't work well. Lighting in general is very dim and inadequate for reading or writing after dark. Bedroom is very small with windows directly facing the corridor, thus the blinds had to be kept down for privacy. WiFi is not password-protected, which raised security concerns. Above are just a few minor issues noted during brief stay, all of which could be easily rectified to provide future guests with a more comfortable pleasant experience. 😊

Location is good if you want/need to be in Trondheim, parking directly below (albeit extremely expensive and down a dirty alley).

We paid a high amount of money for this flat and assumed that this would correlate with the quality of the property - we were wrong. This price tag was simply because apparently there was an event in town (of which we were not aware, we booked 24hr in advance) and this was supposed to justify everything, even after making the host aware. We did not manage to sleep, in part because the bed is completely worn out (if you sleep with two people, expect to end up in a pile on top of each other in the middle), but also because there were drunk people shouting throughout the night. Their vomit welcomed us the next morning when leaving the building. We suspect that the apartment building is a student facility, but it could also just be a poorly maintained general building. There was no coffee machine, nor anything else to welcome us during our stay. There was room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness, and the wifi not being password protected was uncomfortable for us.

Amazing location. Quiet building. Amazing rooftop terrace with wonderful view over Trondheim. Very clean. I enjoyed most the position cause it was sunny all day! Specious bathroom. I didnt use the kitchen but had everything. Very cozy at nights. Would come back again.

The bed linen needs an update and the pillows were just not right for me. I saw extra pillow in the closet but didnt use it. Maybe a little intervention with the price. A hairdryer would be a good investment.

Location and attention of the hostess

The apartment is very spacious, intimate and offers you all the necessary facilities. And the central and quiet area offers you great openness to any means of transport, shops, tourist areas. The stay was perfect. The host was very welcoming and attentive to details. 🤩
