Decent room size, and fairly comfortable

Difficult to sleep at times. Either close the windows and sweat, or open and be kept awake by road noise of busy road. With a small kitchen and there for a week, a small bottle of washing up liquid would have been helpful.

On-site team were great - really friendly and helpful. It’s a convenient spot that’s close to the train station and walkable into town. If you’re looking for something basic and cheap and a place to crash, it’ll do.

Pre-check in process is absolutely crazy and so excessive - unsure why you’d need anyone’s passport. Comms from pre-check-in team online we’re rude, unfriendly and too much. When I say it’s basic, it’s truly so basic. If you’re looking to use the kitchen area for more than just making a brew, pack like you’re going camping. There aren’t enough tools and pots and pans, no washing up liquid, no bin bags. Fridge wasn’t on when I arrived so that took a while to get cold. I had planned to use the kitchen area to make food and save myself a bit of money, but there was a limit to how much I could do so I had to eat out often. The room was boiling hot even though it was cool outside because the window only cracks open a couple of inches - there is no airflow and I slept terribly because it was so bright and so hot. Mattress and bedding is cheap as well so not the most comfortable. People in neighbour rooms were smoking and my room was filled with the smell of cigarettes every time - no way to get rid of it because of the tiny window and the corridor smelled even worse. It felt like the room had been bleached but there were still hairs everywhere and in the sink. There is nowhere comfortable to sit / hang out. Don’t use the towels unless you want to be covered in tiny bits of white fluff for days.

It's a residence for students, a few minutes walk away from the train station, very easy to find, with a little supermarket on your way. I had my little kitchen and bathroom in my studio. Window is well sound proofed.

Sadly, if you keep the window closed for the noise, it's REALLY warm in the studio (temp outside didn't even go over 25° during my 5 nights there). You have to choose/alternate. Aircon would have been appreciated. Online pre check-in is a bit of a pain.

They cancelled the accommodation hours before I was supposed to arrive...via email. They still haven't refunded me for a three night stay that they cancelled. And are not communicating with me at all. I'm now out of pocket for a return trip after I had to book train tickets home. Really unacceptable.

Close to the station

Bed linens were synthetic and it was very hot, I needed to have the window open for air and as the room was next to a road there was traffic noise. I would have liked a couple of tea bags, sugar and milk to have a cuppa in the morning.
