Kyoto Itoya Hotel

We stayed 3 people in the room and it was nice to have 3 regular size beds for each of us. The toilet and the shower are seperate so that was also very convenient. For little things like toothbrush, etc. you can grab them from the lobby. The location was quite easy to reach from Kyoto Station and also walking distance from the sights. Also a bus stop right in front of it was nice for the times we didn't want to walk that much. Family Mart is very close, a drug store and a stationary store also nearby made shopping easy.

The room keys are actual keys and not cards and each room got 1 key. It was inconvenient since we were 3 and not doing everything together. One of us had to wake the other up when arrived later because the entrance door was locked and only opened by the room key.

Konumu metroya yakındı, 5 dakika yürüme mesafesinde idi. Nishiki market ve alışveriş alanlarına yakındı. Arashiyama vb otobüsle ulaşım kolaydı. Valiz gönderme hizmetlerinden (ücretli) yararlandık, Tokyo’ya gittiğimizde valizlerimiz gelmişti, memnun kaldık. Diş fırçası, tarak vb ihtiyaç duyulan seyahat malzemeler mevcuttu.

Pencerelerinde ses yalıtımı azdı. Dışarıdan gece epey ses geliyordu.biraz kötü uyumamıza neden oldu.

Location, room quality, service

Bed was very comfortable and toilet very clean. The staff was very nice. Breakfast is a la carte, not super wide but prepare at the moment so super fresh (honey toast was amazing) and on request the chef was open for little variations that we asked. The luggage shipment was super easy and fast with them. Metro and bus are few minutes walking. Highly recommend!!

Just a bit limited options in the breakfast, like 6-7, but with basically the same ingredients. Whatever as I said it was very fresh and good and chef was open to small things. I would like to suggest to just add a bit more of variety! I am a bit sensitive with light in the early morning, and the curtain didn't block 100% the light but was still effective

Excellent location within walking distance from all main attractions. The room was super modern, clean and comfortable. It was also very big for Japanese standards giving us more than enough space for 2 people. The staff was always very kind and smiley.

Although the breakfast was delicious, the idea of having a limited fixed menu (which was also a bit heavy for someone like me used to eat yogurt and fruits) was not ideal. A small buffet with a couple of fresh options would be more preferrable for me.
