Alba Luxury Suite

This place is a real gem. Beautifully designed, tastefully decorated space with high, vaulted ceilings. The location is excellent – just a few minutes away from the old town. The real highlight is the stunning lower level, outfitted with a big jacuzzi as well as a luxurious rain/waterfall shower in the attached bathroom. There is no better way to relax after a day of exploring than to light some candles and just soak in the hot tub with a glass of wine and some music (there's also a thoughtfully placed Google speaker you can use). The host, Rocco, is wonderful, and was so very kind and helpful in making this a great experience. Before arriving, I asked him where I could rent a carbon frame road bike and he took care of everything, even delivering it to the suite for me. While I was out cycling, I got bitten by a dog outside of town, and he kindly offered to take me to the hospital too. The next day, I was a bit hesitant to go out cycling again, but he took time out of his day to go on a ride with me, even giving me a bottle of wine to enjoy back at the suite! A thunderstorm knocked out the water heater on my last night, and it couldn't be fixed until the next morning before I checked out, as it needed a replacement part. Although it was totally not his fault, he felt bad that it couldn't be fixed immediately. He very kindly offered to let me use the shower in his own home in the meantime, surprised me by treating me to a great dinner, and also let me stay later past check-out time on the last day so I could enjoy one last soak in the hot tub. And afterward, he drove me to the train station! Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. Rocco is a great guy who really goes above and beyond for his guests. If I find myself back in Ostuni, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend!
