Hope St Apartment

It was very cosy

There was alot of steep stairs

First impressions - a dirty stairwell complete with calling card from the police requesting the owner rearrange his “missed” appointment. Walked up the stairs to the most horrific smell imaginable, stale water in the one cup machine, and a drainer full of used pots and dirty walls. Reminders to “get leccy” written on the dartboard along with somebodys shopping list. Half used shower gels left in the bathroom . Both my husband and I felt quite unsafe and like we were in somebody’s house rather than being hosted . We ended up paying less than the cost of this apartment to stay in a hotel , although ultimately we paid twice as the apartment had been paid for too - which I hope I get back . This apartment is not as advertised and should not be offered on your accommodation site.

I stayed for 2 hours and left, couldn’t deal with the fact it was like a drug stop off house

Not homely or comfortable. Was like an old person house who died and is used for drug parties

I booked this place last minute as my boiler had broke and there was no heating or hot water and it was so nice to walk into a warm place, all ready last minute! The shower was lovely and hot and had great power. The dvd selection was top tier 👌🏻 and the communication from the owner was great.

That I had to leave 😂

The only thing we liked was the minute we checked out! The stolen trike at the top of the stairs was a good touch.

The bed, the area, the smell.
