Starting with the great location — right in the middle of the jungle, yet close to a spectacular beach with all the amenities you may need. If you’re dreaming of peace, relaxation, meditation, or a massage, you’ll find it all here. Both owners are on site and always ready to help. For us, the most spectacular experience was the dinner. It wasn’t just a meal — it was a celebration, a sensory journey, and a discovery of new flavours. Aruna, the master chef, plays the leading role here, and he is truly exceptional. You can find many things elsewhere, but definitely not this. We highly recommend it!

Noch viel besser als auf den Bildern, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr tolle Atmosphäre, die beiden Gastgeber sind super nett und machen alles für einen möglich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder kommen. Absolut Empfehlenswert!! ☺️

It's like living in a wonderful, quirky work of art. Few rooms means the gardens and facilities feel very private. The breakfasts were excellent but limited choices. Dinner is costly but we treated ourselves one night and it was very special.

Hard to find and its not clear you're at the right place when you do arrive.

This is a special escape from the often hecticness of Sri Lanka! Just a beautiful tranquil, zen setting..lush gardens. We were so happy with our stay. The hosts are terrific and do all they can to make your stay perfect. The room was large and super comfy.. maybe a touch dim but we were hardly in there! Pool was great and a welcome cool off point. The food was excellent and thoughtly constructed by a real chef (the owner! We ate here both nights! Wow! Thoughtfully constructed delicious meals. We loved staying here..going to watch the sunset at Bentota beach was magical. A big thank out to you all..and also all the cute friendly dogs, especially Charlie, who you could more or less with.. .your choice! Respectful pets...thank you kathrin and hubbie..you made this trip for us. ..

Wauw! Wat een bijzonder mooi, smaakvol en verzorgde plek! Een oase van rust, lekker zwemmen en heerlijk eten.

A beautiful oasis just outside Bentota. Very clean and comfortable rooms, with stunning gardens and a great pool too. Fabulous beach within 5 minute walk. The real highlight of this place is the incredible hosts and the food which was the best we’ve had on our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic quirky, cool place...amazing food and such friendly people. Even arranged to get TV sorted so we could watch Six nations 🏉

It is a tiny paradise jungle. Beautiful setting. So so clean and well kept. Pool was faultless. Rooms so clean with facilities. Restaurant was amazing. We did the normal routes across Sri Lanka but this was the best hotel with by far the best food. Cooked by owner and every meal was top quality.

If I had to pick fault the only thing I would say is the room we had could have done with brighter bulbs as was bit dim. But this is literally finding fault but it really wasn’t a problem.

It was in a quiet location. The garden was full of surprises with a beautiful swimming pool. Loved the trees and flowers and different relaxed seating options. Friendly helpful staff with good recommendations. The highlight was Aruna’s delicious food. We felt well taken care of. It is a delightful intimate villa having only 3 rooms.
