ASSOS APART BELEK

Lovely apartment as advertised. Tahsin and Julia are wonderful caring hosts, who want their guests to have an enjoyable vacation. We arrived by hire car. The car park is secure on site and protected by an electronic gate. We were given a key fob to access the car park as and when we needed. Tahsin has his office located at the side of the car park, so he is always available for a chat or quick hello as you come and go. Julia took us to our room. We had requested a higher floor and we stayed in Room B12, which had great views with the added bonus of getting the early morning sun on one side of the apartment and the afternoon sun on the other side. There were two balconies, but we did not use them as it was too cool during our stay in January. Tahsin arranged for a large 19litre bottle of water with a pump attachment for all our fresh water needs. When empty these were replaced at a cost of 150 Turkish Lira. Ours lasted on average about 5 days before we needed to replace them. Tahsin arranged the replacement bottles to be delivered to our door - great service. The WiFi was high speed and worked very well all the time we were streaming films and watching live sport. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots pans and everything you need to cook meals. The gas hob and electric oven worked perfectly. The lounge area, dining area and bedrooms were all very comfortable. The bathroom has a power shower with continuous hot water and is also fitted out with a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The centre of Belek is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment. We used several of the local supermarkets including, Bim, Carrefour and Migros - they all have a great selection of food/drinks. If you enjoy visiting historical sites there are plenty to choose from within a short drive from Belek. In particular, we loved Aspendos, Syllion, Perge and Side. We would also recommend a trip to the Koprulu Canyon - all of them stunning.

Our only negative comment is the smoking of other guests in the stairwell. The rooms are no smoking, so many people stand in the stairwell and smoke there, which results in the smoke fumes getting into other apartments. Being non smokers we were mindful to keep all doors in our apartment closed during the day and night to stop the smell of smoke getting into our bedroom or lounge area.

Exceptional stay! Assos Apartment is perfect for families. The apartment has a very spacious living room, comfortable sofas, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom bed was extremely comfortable, and having a washing machine and drying rack was very convenient. Towels, hand soap, and dishwashing liquid were provided, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, plates, bowls, kettles, and cleaning supplies. Everything we needed was available. Although a few small parts of the towel rack and shower head were slightly loose, this did not affect our stay at all.

Please note that body wash, shampoo, and laundry detergent are not provided, so guests should bring their own.

Appartement heeft onderhoud/een upgrade nodig. Alles is aanwezig maar oud. Parkeren achter gesloten poort is fijn. Zwembad is heerlijk.

Хозяин написал сообщение, но не отменил бронирование. В итоге, когда я поздно вечером приехал в гостиницу, то меня просто не заселились. При этом поддержка booking.com ничем не помогла и никак не компенсировать.
