Port view Studios

I was blown away by the views. I didn't know it was going to be this magnificent. It was close to town so I'd walk down at least twice a day. The property was clean, fresh and roomy. My host was fabulous, trying to help in every way. He even arranged for a taxi from Vathy to my retreat. 10/10 in every way.

Nothing to complain about. If you're thinking of staying at an affordable but awesome place, choose this place.

The location was excellent, with beautiful views overlooking the port. The centre of Vathy was easily accessible via a staircase next to the property, making it very convenient to explore the area on foot. We also appreciated the stunning scenery and overall atmosphere of the location.

The main issue was the bathroom. The shower was very small and lacked a curtain or proper enclosure, which meant water regularly spilled onto the bathroom floor and created a mess. We noticed that the staff kindly cleaned and mopped while we were out, which we appreciated, but a more practical shower setup would greatly improve the experience. Another concern was the hand soap provided. It appeared to be one of the thin, dissolvable soap sheets, and after several days of use both of us experienced significant dryness and flaking on our hands. It may be worth considering a gentler alternative for guests. We also found the illuminated green emergency exit sign inside the room quite disruptive at night. As it remained on continuously, it made it difficult to achieve complete darkness which affected our sleep quality throughout our stay.

Beautiful view, very attentive staff and very clean. The only downside was that we had 2 double beds, which was bot a problem as we were able to make a double out of that, the only downside of our stay was that the mattress was very uncomfortable and i had back and neck pain every day when i woke up. It was very hard.

Water pressure, inconstant, off and on, sometimes no water in the shower, had to wait for it to come back. Only a shower tray , no curtain, water all over floor. Poor WiFi, v slow

Bright, airy room with fantastic views. Host allowed early entry to room which was a great help as we were only travelling down from Kioni.p

Nothing, but access when walking back from town is up several flights of stairs which may be an issue for anyone with mobility difficulties.

The highlight of the property is the stunning panoramic view of the harbour. The large balcony is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces in the courtyard, including an area for barbecues. The room was spacious and very comfortable, providing plenty of room to unwind. The location is also excellent, making it easy to enjoy a pleasant walk down into town and explore the local area.

Parking is somewhat limited, and you need to be comfortable maneuvering along a narrow lane. That said, this is quite common in Greece, and after driving around the islands for a while, it becomes much easier and doesn't feel like a major issue. suggestions that could be improved: The shower enclosure was missing, which meant the bathroom floor needed to be mopped after every shower. The shower floor was quite slippery; a rubber mat would make it much safer. The oven and induction hob are positioned very high, almost at head level, which felt potentially unsafe. If visiting during the summer months, mosquito screens on the windows would be very helpful. There was a strong and persistent odor coming from the shower room drain throughout our stay. Low season discounted price was still a good value for money - not sure i would come back in high-season price with that cons above.
