The view is spectacular, and the in-room onsen was great. This is a very small resort, and the only way to reach it is by car. You also must be prepared to carry your luggage down two flights and up two flights when you leave. Once on-site, the only way to get a taxi is to have the attendant call for one. The city of Atami was lovely, and we enjoyed our short stay. We took a city bus up the mountain and had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. Overall, we highly recommend this place; one just needs to understand the limitations.

"Atami View Resort for the early risers"

The view! The onsen! The comfortable and extremely soft touch of the pillows. I want pillows like that now. The beautiful Kimonos. 👘 It was perfect. The sunrise views is a bonus.

I didn’t really like the breakfast other than the croissants. The onsen was great and the view was AMAZING!!!

Taxi was a bit of a wait sometimes.
