Was on tank water so had to limit the amount of times I could use the washing machine.

Tasteful decor and furnishings, private deck with a great rural view. Great value for money. Breakfast included.

Tranquil location with a great view. The property had everything we needed.

Great location 500m from beach; big bedroom and comfy bed; huge bathroom with good shower; well-equipped kitchen with bread and cereal supplied. Large deck with table and chairs, plus 2 Adirondack/Muskoka chairs. Bikes and kayaks for our use. Gillian and Mal were wonderful, friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble -- we hope to return one day.

We just returned from staying at this modern apartment in Kawakawa Bay, and it was wonderful. Waking up to the rolling fields, farm animals, and the morning winter sun pouring into the lounge and balcony was something special. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape from the city. We loved exploring the nearby beaches and bush walks in the local regional parks. The apartment was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed—especially the well-appointed cooking facilities. Despite being on a main road, the property was incredibly calm and quiet, and it made the address easy to find when we arrived after sunset. The clear visitor parking was convenient and close to the apartment, making it simple to come and go. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of room for luggage, the bathroom was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy some downtime in a beautiful Kiwi setting, we absolutely recommend this piece of paradise. We hope to come back in the future!
