Black Canyon Campground And Cabins

Staff was extremely helpful! Very helpful , had everything ready!!

The staff was pleasant, and the bathrooms were very clean. Showers had good water pressure, and the cabins stayed warm with the heater set with an auto temperature.

The mattresses can definitely use an upgrade. For people with back and hip pain, it's quite challenging trying to get a good night's rest and the office, which held the ability to get more coffee cups and coffee or towels, opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm. There is a sign in the ladies' bathroom stating "bathroom is monitored " with a 😉 emoji. I forgot to ask how they are monitored, so you may want to ask.

We booked a cabin for 2 persons. The cabin is small, it has 4 beds but I DON'T recommend booking it for 4 persons. The cabin is very stylish, all made of wood, bed floor roof walls desks chairs. The cabin has ac, windows, lights, TV, plugs. The area of the campground is nice, with a lot of big cactuses 🌵 around. The bathroom is shared, we used it in the morning and it was exceptionally clean.

We have to walk in the sand for 50 metres in freezing cold to reach the bathroom.

The cabin was super hot when we walked in. It took it 5 hours to cool down in there. We went to turn on the light and the light didn't even work. It kept flickering on and off like we were in a club. We had to leave and get ready somewhere else because we couldn't see. The men's bathroom has a bunch of spiders and the cabin wasn't that clean either. The pool area is not safe for children either. The pool railings are old, rusting and coming out of the ground. And the mattress was thin. I could feel the boards on the bed through the mattress.

we came to AZ from MN for a jeep jamboree and the campgrounds was perfectly located for our 2 start points for trails! Tiffany was very helpful in assuring us that there would be room for our trailer with the 2 jeeps on it! The bathhouse was perfect!! Clean and HOT water!!

The bed in cabin 3 had a slight lean down to the headboard and the AC in cabin 4 didn't work but other than that everything was great!
