It was my first time in Portugal so wanted somewhere close to the airport the villa was a 10 minute drive. The villa had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The outside space was great as was the pool. The host who lives next door was pleasant and very helpful. Loved sitting outside in the evening watching the lizards running up the wall. There are chickens who live next door who made us laugh, every time the rooster crowed another in the far distance would reply, due to loving chickens I found it all quite entertaining

The only negative for us was the neighborhood dogs who barked all night, every night. There are a lot of dogs in the area and all seem to live outside. Not a problem if you are a deep sleeper, which we are not.
