We loved it here so much! Thanks for taking such great care of us - it was a really special night.

Lovely place. Lovely family. The dinner was amazing. We got to share corn wine with the family and we sang karaoke. It was really fun. We had pancakes and a little coffee in the morning while admiring the wonderful landscape.

Absolutely nothing !

What a wonderful place to spend a first night or last night on the loop ! The view is amazing, located in a very small village with local Dao people. The homestay is big and spacious, the beds are comfortable, it was very peaceful and quiet during the night, far from the noise of the main road. But the must was the amazingly caring family that welcomed us. They did every they could to make us feel comfortable, and share their culture with us. The dinner was the best we had in Vietnam, it was absolutely delicious, tasteful and the best part is that we share the end of the dinner with the family, each member took the time to spend time with us and getting to know us. If you want have an authentic dinner in a beautiful peaceful place, that’s the place ! 😊

This is quite a hidden gem, away from all of the other tourists in Quan Ba. Just opened a few years ago, the Homestay Truc Son sits amongst the mountains of Northern Vietnam, and is run by the nicest Black Dao family who sat with us all night talking about their lives, cooking amazing food, as well as drinking the strong happy water that goes down so smooth.

There is not much to dislike, but don’t expect super modern facilities. This is a true Homestay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We loved that it’s set slightly away from the main towns – the views are stunning, and the location gave us a more authentic, peaceful experience. The absolute highlight was the dinner: delicious, home-cooked, and full of heart. Sharing karaoke with the family afterwards made the evening even more special! The only minor downside for us was the loud fan in the room and a shower that could use a little upgrade – but nothing that would put us off. I’d still wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, genuine experience.

The family, daughters were present to receive me, were wonderful and extremely welcoming. The property sat in such a pristine place. Not too many other travelers around, giving the sense of true adventure. Location was a bit off the beaten path and added to the allure. The spread they laid out was AMAZING. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I received. Without hesitation, I would recommend this over and over again.

Zero things to not like. I just wish I had more time to enjoy!

Staying at this homestay in Vietnam was one of the most beautiful experiences of my travels. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by an incredible family who made us feel like one of their own. Their generosity and genuine care touched us deeply. The homemade food was so good and it was so much food as well, full of flavor, and prepared with so much love. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by nature and far from the usual tourist crowds. This place is not just a homestay, it’s a home, a heartwarming experience that will stay with me forever. If you’re looking for an authentic and unforgettable stay in Vietnam, this is the place and it truly was the best homestay of the Ha Giang Loop.
