A cute little room right in the middle of the town, next to a diner and a short walk to the water.

The kettle - the outer part - wasn’t clean and the hairdryer was sticky to touch due to the plastic outer layer being worn off however it was working fine.

Great place for one night in glenorchy.

Helpful staff (especially Christian) lovely chalet style room and comfortable bed. We would definitely return.

Die Lage ist super und der Spaziergang um den Glenorchy-Lagoon ein muss. Allein der Weg von Queenstown nach Glenorchy hat sich gelohnt. Gleich neben der Unterkunft ist ein Kaffee und eine Bar für Frühstück oder Abendessen. Es hat einen Kickertisch zur freien Benutzung. Billiard und Dart gegen einen kleinen Preis. Dort darf man sich auch sonst aufhalten zum Spielen oder am Laptop zu arbeiten. Vom Zimmer waren die Betten das Beste. Diese waren super bequem und sehr breit.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im EG und hörten jeden Schritt und das Schnarchen von den Gästen ober uns. Also ein Zimmer im 1. Stock verlangen. Es hatte nur 1 Nachttisch (Brille, Buch, Handyablage?) und sehr wenig Platz um das Bett herum. Da muss man bescheiden sein.

I was really impressed that the size of the room was larger than I expected from the photos. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view of Pikirakatahi Mount Earnslaw. The ensuite bathroom was tidy and functional. There was a nice selection of hot drinks in the room, too. Really convenient location for all the cafes and a short walk to the wharf.

The lighting was trendy and stylish, but I would have preferred actual downlights so that I could see a bit better once the curtains were closed.
