"The most perfect cosy getaway."

Absolutely beautiful little cottage. Came with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday and it was so special. The owners are absolutely lovely and couldn’t have done any more for us, from providing us milk when we forgot it to giving us a lift to a restaurant when we couldn’t get a taxi! Absolutely amazing hospitality from the owners. Hot tub was lovely and the beds were so comfy. Interior is even more beautiful than the photos, and the kitchen provides you with everything you need! Couldn’t have asked for any more and would recommend to any of my friends or family, whether it’s a friend getaway like ours or a couples getaway it’s amazing for any occasion.

"Perfect cosy getaway!"

Perfect getaway for my boyfriends birthday! Our 4 year old Labrador came along and loved it. Dog friendly and cosy. Hot tub was exceptional. Recommend Bickerton poacher for a dog friendly pub and the sandstone trail across the road. Host’s were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and return.

"Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location"

Very cosy cottage with high end finishing touches in a very quiet and peaceful area. Sitting room very comfortable to relax in. Kitchen small but very well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with a great shower with good pressure. The garden with hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, dining area and loungers is delightful, wish we could have used it more but we were out a lot and occasionally the weather wasn't kind. Hosts James and Corinna were so welcoming and friendly. Even though they're on site, our privacy was never an issue. Great base for exploring so many wonderful attractions nearby - walks, National Trust, farm shops, pubs etc all well within an hour's drive. We didn't manage all our plans so we look forward to returning!

Head height limited in bedroom and slightly in the kitchen area. Not an impediment to our enjoyment, just worth noting for tall people (we're 5'10" and it wasn't a big issue).

The facilities. The staff were lovely and always at hand. The hot tub was really nice and ready and hot when we arrived. The beds were extremely comfy.

Quite a lot of insects but expected in the countryside. We couldn’t light the fire.
