Big spacious house with whatever you could need for a weekend away

We liked the view by the pool as well as the outdoor living area. It was a very accommodating house and had the essentials plus a little something extra here and there. Kids had a blast and enjoyed the area as well.

Our host, Neil, was very friendly and met us when we arrived. The house far exceeded our expectations. The pool and the outdoor area were lovely and we spent much of our time there making the most of the massive braai. The garden felt very private and you could walk straight onto the river edge from the garden to watch the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen had everything you could need including complimentary wine, coffee pods, tea etc. The beds were very comfortable and the main en suite had an amazing view of the Berg River. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity and would recommend to people.

A fantastic location. The pool was a lovely bonus in the hot weather and it was nice to kayak on the river. Good off road parking. The rooms were very spacious. A little quirky layout. Fully equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning another.

Bedside lamps would be nice but as mentioned the house is a little quirky esp the lighting. The lounge lacked a bit of atmosphere and outdoors could do with another 1 or 2 comfortable chairs/loungers besides the daybed.

The location was just perfect. It was neat and tidy.The rooms are spacious. The shower in the main bedroom was just awesome and the view was to die for.

Great location. Spacious living areas. Has everything you need for a family getaway. Kids enjoyed the canoe provided by the homeowner. It's only a couple of metres down to the river. If you're in to fishing, you have access to a private jetty on the river and you can pump prawn right in front of the house. The home owner was easy to deal with and very accommodating, this rounded off our overall awesome experience.

Nothing that we did not like.

Location is amazing! Lovely pool and braai. Nice seating areas.

Extremely slippery tiles at braai when wet from pool. Large fridge required for a group of 8x people.

Swimming pool and the shower and the braai.

The gate won’t close properly and the dock needs attention.
