House in Lakithra

Very nice house with huge garden and everything that you may need for your stay.

We have fantastic time in house in lakithra. There are nice garden, quiet location, beautiful view.

Just a detail that annoyed me: 2nd toilet extremely small.

The house, the hospitality and the big yard was great. We highly recommend the place for every group of friends and families

The house is amazing, just like in the pictures. It has everything you need and a really big garden with a view. It is clean and very equipped. The host Alex was really friendly and helpful with the local tips. He answered and reacted so quickly to all of our needs. I totally recommend!

The host Alex P. was very helpful with his kindness and very useful information. The accommodation was as described, with all possible facilities.

For short-term stops, there is not always a free parking space in front of the house/on the street.

I enjoyed very much my stay in the house in Lakithra in April of this year. It was in one word: perfect! The host Alex is really very helpful. He did everything he could to make my stay as easy as possible. The house is the country dwelling of his family – so it is equipped with all the necessities making it possible to live there as if one is a local resident. Moreover it is beautifully decorated. The house is situated in a quiet village. But at the same time it is easily accessible from the airport – and also not far away from the island’s capital Argostoli. In the close vicinity there is a small supermarket – besides a couple of fine restaurants. Not forgetting to mention the fine beaches! One of the most dazzling features of the house is its very large garden – where you can eat outside and enjoy the soft evenings. At the back of the garden you get an amazing view of the azure blue sea in the distance and the island of Zakynthos. In the other direction the Ainos mountain range – with the highest peak of Kefalonia – rises majestically. The house is very close to the spot where Lord Byron stayed four months in Kefalonia in 1823 – a spot which he favoured and enjoyed because of exactly the same views of sea and mountains I saw in 2024. This house in Lakithra is certainly one of the best places in Kefalonia to stay for a week or two and from there to explore the island. Thank you, Alex, for my unforgettable stay in Kefalonia – and I hope I will return some day.
