New Cheonji Hotel

The location is great, 2 minutes from metro station, 10 mins (walk and subway) from main market street (Myeong-dong). Clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing - taxis, information, chats, umbrella - anything at all, no problem. The owner came to us directly as we were waiting to check in (we were an hour early!) and had a nice little chat We didn't have dinner there as we went out in the morning and were away until late every night, so I can't comment on the dinners

Pity there was no breakfast area. We would of liked a breakfast bar, even if it was just tea/coffee and toast. Yes, there was a kettle in the room, but its not the same. Not the worst complaint to be honest!

The hotel was better than what we expected. The room was very large and clean. The lobby staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the centre and we could walk everywhere.

It was a bit expensive.

The location was very good just 5 min walk to reach Dongdaemun History & Culture Park

Unfortunately, it didn't have a bidet in the bathroom. Nowadays most hotels in Korea have bidet in their bathrooms.

Several subway stations around, airport bus pick station also close. The hotel is clean and has a laundry.

No ventilation in bathroom (or it just didn't work). Tiny coridor in the room doesn't have enough space for luggage.

Several times the lights in the room would suddenly go out.
