"Simple, close to ocean, staff could learn some hospitality"

6.0

Amazing location, short walk to the ocean.

Not the most private of rooms, the top 1ft of the wall which is shared with the dorm room is actually open air but with a curtain, so any sounds would pass through. Not ideal for couples etc. Also staff could be a bit more friendly and gossip and giggle less in front of your face. I felt like an inconvenience. Despite being basically the only guest for 4 nights, on the morning of checkout, I ordered breakfast and the lady asks me "under what name". I had to laugh to myself. A large part of the island seems conflicted with wanting tourist money, but not wanting tourists. Strange vibes
