I liked the fact that Charlotte was exceptionally friendly on arrival and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She provided charcoal and firelighters because we mentioned we forgot charcoal.

The pictures doesn’t do justice to how beautiful the property is , from the gate right to the chalet . Charlotte is such a friendly and accommodative host. We had such a warm welcome And the WhatsApp messages with directions and places to visit during our stay made the weekend even more peaceful. The views my absolute favourite

Cute cottage located within farming community of Swellendam; private, all amenities provided for. Host thought of everything to make our stay memorable. We will stay at Sonlight again.

Some of the furniture (2 lounge chairs and coffee table) was a bit too large for the lounge space, so tight for moving around. The bed (mattress) was uncomfortable.

This is a gem....beautiful setting, very clean. Loved the farm like decor and exceptionally friendly hostess. Loved every minute and will definitely be back.
