"Don’t go"

1.0

Food was good. Dinner costs 18 euros a person.

It’s a complete scam. First of all there are plenty of additional hidden costs which you will not find in many other camps. Starting off with the pick up - they send you a location for the meeting point which is 17km outside of Merzouga and around 10km away from the camp. For these 10km you’re asked 25 euros (in one direction), and if you want them to come to the city, it’s additional 20 euros. If you decline the additional 20 euros, they try to scam you with a fake taxi for 15. They also lie about the activities. We wanted to rent a shared quad they said it’s impossible - we did it in another camp. We were the only guests at the camp and the staff didn’t interact with us at all. There was no fire, no berber music in the evening as everywhere else. Hot water and electricity are unreliable. Overall we regret staying there.

"Nice experience but pay attention to additional costs and no fan/aircon"

5.0

Tents and location in general are really pretty, staff is incredibly kind, dinner and breakfast very tasty

No air conditioning/fans in the tents makes it impossible to sleep in summertime.. Moreover in the price they don’t say that it is NOT included transportation to the camp (20€ per person), and dinner (17€ per person). In my opinion these details should be said before booking.

Our visit to Morocco was rendered complete by the uniquely captivating experience at the Merzouga Bio Camp. We had the privilege of spending one mesmerizing night in May under the expansive desert skies, cocooned in the heart of the Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Hassan, who immediately put us at ease with his hospitality. As we arrived amidst a swirling sandstorm, a welcoming cup of tea was the perfect gesture of warmth. Hassan's help was especially appreciated when our car got stuck in the sand, demonstrating his extraordinary commitment to his guests. The camp, despite being in the middle of the desert, provided a clean and comfortable room, serving as a soothing sanctuary after our adventurous journey. As expected in such an environment, resources were naturally scarce, with limited water and no Wi-Fi. But hey, we were in the desert, and the lack of modern amenities only added to the authenticity of our desert experience. The location of the camp is second to none, nestled amidst the towering dunes of Merzouga, reachable by an hour's camel ride into the desert. The dinner served at the camp was a memorable highlight, with a savory spread of vegetable tajine and grilled chicken that left us fully satisfied.

"I would recommend anyone staying there who is traveling for the first time like me to Merzouga"

10.0

Merzouga Bio camp is charming. From the minute I arrived in piont of localisation , a driver Haasan was waiting for me and I felt welcomed . As I was traveling alone, i feel very saftly, Mehdi the owner was incredibly helpful and made me feel additionally welcome and comfortable.

Nothing.

Friendly staff. Honest and capable. Lovely location. Hassan spoke good English. Black desert is amazing.

Curtains for windows to block out sun would be good. We used our T shirts.

The tent was very comfortable and beautiful and the food was amazing!

There was no clarity about what was included in the price. Also the camp is not really in the big dunes of the desert, and it wasn't really clear what we could do there as an activity, such as a camel tour or a ride to the dunes/sunset/sunrise. We were a bit stuck for the whole time (24u)

"Tent camp near merzouga"

7.0

Nice staff

Some fees were not disclosed up front. For instance, to get to the tents you need a 4x4 or a camel ride that's $$. Also, if you need to go to town or anywhere, you ll need to pay. No such thing as a free shuttle

"Beautiful new looking camp in the desert dunes"

10.0

Super friendly and chill crew. We had private treatment where another camp looked packed with people. Diner and breakfast were outstanding

We didnt know the extra prices in advance. But it wasn't a problem in the end when were shy a couple of Dirham.
