Villa Sea Horizon

Location of the villa is visibly on a high ground, but the road to the villa is quite narrow, steep and unsafe. There is no guardrail or fence, which makes for a stressful trip up to the villa, especially if you are travelling with children. The villa itself lacked some basic things, such as dishwasher tablets, and the overall conditions did not reflect the price point. Based on past reviews and our experience, I can definitely confirm that the property is not being managed and maintained at all.

Location just blew us away. Very private. Close to nature. Fabulous views. Great swimming pool. Lovely entertainment spaces. Pool house great.

Drive was a little bit exciting. Upstairs and pool house bathrooms too compact. No corkscrew. Inadequate serving spoons. Broken toastie maker. Shade over pool inadequate for little children. Goats broke in and decimated plants, chewing my daughter’s hat!

Skopelos is an enchanting island. Nice beaches!

The property is not as described. Location: The house is far from most beaches (30 min drive) and far from the town with all the restaurants (20 min drive). It's definitely not 150 m from Glysteri Beach, as described in the posting - it's over 1 km! Bedrooms: The fourth bedroom is outside of the main house and is located in something that was probably a garage. The doors to two of the bathrooms cannot be closed. Not all bedrooms have air conditioning. Bathrooms: No shower curtains or glass enclosures so when one showers, the toilets and floors get wet. Host/managers: One of the 'managers' who communicated with us was especially rude and unhelpful. He was late meeting us at the property and didn't provide directions to the place (we drove around the island asking random people for assistance). Overall impression: The property is in dire need of refurbishment, repairs, and maintenance. We had a feeling that no one had lived or stayed there for a while. The heating radiators were working at full power in the middle of July!
