Amalfi Coast View

Fabulous apartment, the terrace is amazing....beautiful views. Very well equipped kitchen and helpful staff and owner. An absolute must stay.

This is a beautiful unit, we enjoyed it very much, and the views were spectacular. The unit was clean, set up really nicely and very comfortable.

Could use some better lighting on the sixth floor at the entrance, sometimes the light worked and sometimes the light didn’t. The door code did not work also, but the host was very responsive and answering my phone call and letting us in remotely. Not a big deal, but just something to approve upon.

We chose this property because we wanted (1) a beautiful view, (2) not to be climbing lots of hills and stairs every time we did anything, (3) a local neighborhood vibe, and (4) good access to the train station and ferry terminal for excursions - both easy walks. This property was perfect for us! Pictures are very accurate. We spent one day at Paestum, and three days exploring different towns along the coast by ferry, and the walks to and from the station and ferries were easy and safe. Balcony got shade in the morning during our September stay so we loved breakfast with a view, then at night, takeaway pizza and watching the twinkling lights and stars, and listening to the sounds of the city. If it was too hot or rainy, you could get the same view from the living room's large windows. With the windows closed, the place is super quiet. AC was excellent (there is a unit in the bedroom and in the living room) and water temp & pressure in the shower both good, and strong Wifi. We ate most of our 'fancy' meals at lunch while town-hopping and ran around the corner a few times to grab the perfect 4E pizza from BiaMaria for dinner on the deck. The locals waiting along with us were very patient as we practiced our Italian with them :) Host was wonderful - when our transfer to the Naples airport fell through the day before our departure, he arranged a driver for us on less than 12 hours' notice.

Very minor comment, as we did not do any major cooking, but some more knives would be helpful - there was only one large cutting knife, no paring knives or similar for cutting up fruit & vegetables. The listing mentions an elevator. The elevator reaches the 6th floor - the property is on the 7th floor, so there is one flight of stairs to climb at the top. This was not a problem for us as we do not have any mobility issues, but may be for others.

Niestety jesteśmy zawedzeni. Apartament ma sporo minusów dodatkowo jest problem z właścicielem. 1. Wada konstrukcyjna budynku z rozszerzalnością cieplną - lokal jest na najwyższym piętrze w bloku i zostały użyte złe materiały do budowy - przez to zmiany temperatury przy nagrzewaniu nad ranem i chłodzeniu sie wieczorem powodują nieprzyjemne trzeszczenia i różne hałasy o typie pykania i klikania. Trwa to codziennie i szczególnie nad ranem, jak wychodzi słońce to hałasy utrudniają spanie. 2. Brakowało np. deski do krojenia- właściciel zobowiązał sie ze na drugi dzień dostarczy nam deskę ale do końca pobytu tego nie zrobił. Poza tym brak było ścierek, przybory kuchenne to dramat- szczególnie patelnie z których dosłownie sypał sie teflon. W łazience klucz jest tak zardzewiały że nie dało sie zamknąć drzwi jak ktoś korzystał. Dodatkowo drzwi w prysznicu sie nie domykały- szpara kilka cm przez co było mokro na podłodze. 3. Najorsza jednak była postawa właściciela. Po całym dniu podróży, pierwszego dnia klucz zablokował sie w drzwiach (nie dało sie go wyciagnąc ani zamknąć drzwi), zamiast szybko wezwać ślusarza to właściciel w zasadzie nic nie zrobił. Patrzył i rozkładał ręce. Szarpiąc się z zamkiem urwał klucz. Ostatecznie wieczorem sami odblokowaliśmy zamek całkowicie go rozmontowaliśmy i usunęli usterkę ale przez to przepadła nam rezerwacja w restauracji i cały wieczór. Właściciel nie chciał nam dać żadnej zniżki czy rekompensaty a zaoszczędził na ślusarzu (ceny od 150 do 300 euro)i wymianie zamka oraz czasie. Twierdził wtedy że nie rozumie po angielsku, udawal tez ze nie rozumie jak uzylismy translatora online po włosku. Co wiecej apartament ma przydzieloną bardzo niską moc z z sieci elektrycznej (ponizej 7000Wat) co powoduje że jak sie włączy dwa klimatyzatory to wybija bezpieczniki przy włączeniu dodatkowego urządzenia- np.

Lovely location! The place was clean and had a beautiful view and balcony. The whole place felt spacious and we appreciated the clear communication, coffee, and special touches like plug adaptor and clothes drying rack.

Shower was a little small but ok!

Восхитительные апартаменты с захватывающим видом на побережье, абсолютно все удобства для комфортного проживания (стиральная и посудомоечная машина, кофемашина, кондиционеры, фен) все очень чисто и удобно Квартира находится на 7 этаже (есть лифт) Приятно было увидеть подготовленную для нас бутылочку шампанского, воду, кофе ) Отдельное спасибо Паскалю за возможность раннего заселения и помощь во всем! Пляжи в 3 минутах пешком (нам понравился Aurora - хорошая кухня, вежливый персонал и чистый пляж), магазины и рестораны в 1 минуте, порт в 10 минутах, центр Салерно 15-20 мин Если хотите просыпаться и засыпать с захватывающими видами на Амальфийское побережье - вам однозначно сюда ❤️

Just perfect location - the views were spectacular. You could see up and down the Amalfi Coast. Very comfortable space and loved the Salerno community down below, to shop or grab a cappuccino.
