"It was sufficient for the reason I had come that way."

The scenery

The restaurant was closed. There was no deadbolt on the doors, not even a chain lock. There were no extras, Kleenex ran out, no ice, coffee was a long way off.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were super friendly. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Unfortunately the cafe was under renovation during our stay. (It reopened the day we left. Which was a bummer) However, we look forward to trying it out on our next stay.

"Overall it was fantastic and was a great retreat after a long day of hunting."

I did not get to try the breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was very good.

The pillows were a little stiff. The heater kept warming the room up even when it was set to the low 60s.

Great location, beautiful view of the river. Clean and friendly. Plenty of towels and I really liked the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. Heat and thermostat works! Restaurant was really nice too with a beautiful deck and view. Great breakfast.

Bed mattress is springs and outdated. Toilet extremely small, low and outdated.

"We got a rate of $92 with taxes included. I think $80 would have been plenty for the out dated room etc. but nice view!"

Location, view, proximity to walking paths, tame deer, bowling and pool.

They need more waitresses and someone who can cook. One waitress ran to death and a meal my teenager could cook doesnt cut it. Cockroaches on the side walk by motel (got swept up the day we were leaving). Dirty ash trays (never washed) and tables never wiped outside the rooms. Thank God… never saw anyone smoking or the proximity to the rooms was 10 feet.
