Comfy bed, quality bedding, great coffee, clean room, lovely village.

Tiny room. Expensive breakfast. Impersonal stay. Noisy and busy pub.

"Disappointing"

5.0

Lovely village setting, the room had a fantastic shower and the free standing bath is a nice touch. Dedicated/safe free parking is always good.

Just never felt the love from beginning to end. The accommodation was adequate; unfortunately, the noise from the floor boards above my room sounded terrible when other guests walked about their room. (Potentially need inspecting) The curtains are not black out and sadly let a lot of light in the early hours of the morning (sleepless night) Booked an evening meal and battled to get served at the bar due to the locals drinking and sitting/standing there (always frustrating). Get your drink and get away from the bar. The menu is bewildering for a village pub and restricted choice. I can't comment on breakfast because due to confusion about my booking, which might have been my fault, but we weren't even asked whether we wanted breakfast when we checked out. At 8:30, there was just one guest enjoying breakfast? Just a disappointing overall experience.
