Atholl House Skye

Atholl House Skye is a lovely property very near the sea. The staff are so kind and welcoming, and they saw to every little thing, from complementary in-room tea and biscuits, to a DELICIOUS continental breakfast (fresh Scottish salmon, local cheeses, pastries, custom made porridge, coffee etc), and a lovely drink service in the evening in the lounge with other guests. The rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable. I will definitely be staying at Atholl House again! Tip: please make sure you allow more time than you think you need to drive across Skye, and don’t drive at night (the roads are narrow and there are a lot of switchbacks). The property is wonderfully situated near Talisker Distillery, Coral Beach, and many other points of interest. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Wat een fijne plek om te verblijven! Het personeel doet er alles aan om je thuis te laten voelen. Goede bedden, een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt! En we hebben er ‘s avonds ook echt heerlijk gegeten!

Everything! But the staff particularly, they couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendlier! It really added to the style of stay you get with this hotel! It felt like being at a family or close friends home!

Tout était exemplaire: de l’accueil au chambre en passant par le dîner et le petit déjeuner. Je tiens à souligner l’extrême gentillesse de nos hôtes. Nous avons même prolongé une nuit !!!

Setting was lovely. Hotel was wonderful and staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. Would highly recommend.
