The location is great and so is the bath itself.

Having a toilet right next to the bed without a door is truly terrible. That's the last thing you wanna hear/smell as you go to bed/wake up. If I had clocked that was the design, I would not have booked this. And then you're showering in full view for the person in bed or bathing for all. The big difference you get from actual Love Hotels in Japan (we lived there previously) is that things actually make sense: the towels are adult sized, there are bedside lights, if there's a kettle - there's also a spoon, and the showers are built with the correct tilt so that it isn't on you to squeegee the flood of water into the drain. The design of this place, with its lack of thought and function left us baffled.
