Basil Leaf Resort

My recent stay at Basil Leaf Resort in Alibaug was simply delightful.We spent 3 nights and 4 days enjoying the serene environment just behind Varsoli Beach, which happens to be one of the cleanest and most vibrant beaches in Alibaug. love this place

Property was clean, staff was very polite and respectful. We were coordinating with Mr.Akshay.He is very polite and helpful person who is always ready to help and provided fast services. Over all it's was good experience. Nearest beach is Varsoli beach just 300 m from the property. Varsoli is a Beautiful beach

Stayed at Basil Leaf Resort in Alibaug. Rooms were clean and nice. Pool area was also neat and good for relaxing. Great place for a family weekend. Peaceful location and perfect for a short getaway.

It was a nice stay at Basil Leaf. Although the breakfast options were limited, the food was amazing. Please try the Rawa Pomfret — it’s tasty and lives up to expectations. All the dishes prepared by the cook were delicious. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and all the staff were cordial and supportive.

A bit more cleanliness was expected, especially since we had mentioned that our little kid was accompanying us.

The breakfast was a complete joke — just some bread and butter with misal pav. That’s all they had in the name of a buffet. To make it worse, it was served on the rooftop with zero ventilation or fans. Everyone was drenched in sweat, trying to eat in the unbearable heat and humidity. As if that wasn’t enough, I ordered prawn chilli through room service and specifically requested no chilli. What I got was a cold dish overloaded with chillies. When I asked for a replacement, they casually said they were out of prawns and told me to place a new order. No apology, no solution — just pure negligence. Truly a pathetic experience from start to finish. Avoid if you value your comfort and sanity.
