Ideally located with perfect views

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Before my arrival, the host tried to convince me to cancel the reservation on the platform and pay him directly. When I refused, he demanded an additional 70 EUR for a late check-in — a fee that is not mentioned anywhere in the listing or in my booking confirmation. When I pointed out that this violates Booking.com policies, his tone became aggressive and he warned that I would be fully charged anyway. This behavior was highly unprofessional and intimidating. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Upon arrival, the apartment was in an unacceptable condition. It was clearly not properly cleaned and did not meet even basic hygiene standards. The property does not match the listing description. Between the attempt to bypass the platform, the undisclosed extra charges, the aggressive communication, and the extremely poor cleanliness, this experience was shocking and deeply disappointing. I would strongly advise future guests to reconsider before booking this property.

Please pay ATTENTION to what you book. This is a shared kind of arrangement. The downstairs part is quiet spacious with kitchenette and own bathroom but no balcony. The upstairs is two single rooms, both very small and they share the bathroom (also tiny) and the balcony. All three arrangements use the same entrance door, which can lead to confusion if one of the parties is not aware that this is a shared apartment. However, Richard tries his best to take care of everything and is very responsive to all messages i. e. no electricity when you switch on the heater and so on. There is a water heater and some coffee and tea bag’s available for the upstairs rooms, but other than that, no self-catering possible. Also the area is very quiet, mostly apartment buildings around and not many restaurants or cafés. On the plus side, if you do go out for a bite to eat, you will only encounter friendly locals and authentic Portuguese way of life.

Upstairs room too small for the price per night and mini fridge (maybe 50 by 30 cm) is not working.

C’est la plus belle vue de tout Lisbonne, sérieux, je donne un 1000/10!! Juste splendide, wow! Tout est super propre, le personnel est aux petits soins. On a été accueillis comme des rois! Dès notre arrivée, on nous a tout montré, remis les clés, expliqué ce qu’il y avait sur place et comment tout fonctionnait. C’est rare d’avoir un service aussi attentionné!

The view is incredible, the house is cozy and close to the tramway! The host was lovely and I felt really at ease as a solo traveler.

Осторожно! Это не "делюкс- номера", а комнаты в квартире с общим туалетом на этаже. Об этом пишут мелким шрифтом в описании "делюкс-номера", но не на странице бронирования, а на странице, где описывается весь объект. Кроме того, имейте в виду, что если вы все же решите поселиться в эти комнаты, но ваш рейс прибывает в неудобное собственнику время, с вас возьмут сумму, которая может превысить стоимость комнаты за день (70 евро). Об этом собственник тоже скромно умалчивает в своем описании на Booking.com, зато как только вы оплатите, вам он вам это сообщает в письме. И в-третьих, если вы вдруг решите с собственником поспорить через платформу для размещения, он деньги не вернет, а о вас напишет "In brief, bad faith all the way from a typical time waster."

Excelent views from the appartment.

To get the excelent views you do need to be a good walker if you intend to walk as it is a steep climb up to the house. The house also does not have an elavator so you just need to consider that. the layout is an appartment with curtains deviding the space so this does feel a little uncomfortable.
