Swan Studio Haven

The Swan Lodge as a great base for a single traveller/couple to explore Clare county and the Burren. As a walker, if walking to/from Lisdoonvarna there is a short >10 minute stretch of the road which isn't lay-by or footpath so hi-vis clothing would be essential. If using a car it's on the road to Kilfenora and minutes from Lisdoonvarna, for the Cliffs/Doolin/the Burren etc. It's also a 15min/2min drive walk from The Common Knowledge for someone doing a course. The Lodge itself has everything needed, is clean, warm and comfortable, and with wi-fi. I didn't like to disturb the owner on a Saturday evening when I had a minor problem with the sound on the tv, but they were very responsive and the issue was resolved quickly.

No complaints about the property itself but a chair in the bedroom would be helpful and a sign at the gate entrance would have helped to identify the property more easily.

Everything that was needed for our three night stay was available. The bed is very comfortable, the studio clean and equiped with laundry products, bathroom products, essential kitchen items like cooking oil, condiments, cling wrap etc etc. An airfryer and washing machine and dryer came in very handy.

blew my expectations out of the water! I loved everything esp tom the cat and being able to watch Netflix. it was so clean, comfy and cozy

I didn't have a car so walking into town for the first or last 5-10 mins is super sketchy on a narrow country road with no lights and cars speeding past. I had to stand in the bush.

Great distance. Only 15 min from doolin pier. Every amenity you can think oF. Nice host.

No breakfast

Nothing comes to mind. All basic needs met.

The host was kind and understanding. The house was full of small surprising extras. It is very private and away from the road.

The sitting area needs a small coffee table.
