Salma Desert Camp

We had a very nice stay! The domes were very clean, AC and Wi-Fi were working well and the staff was very polite and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was delicious with many options to choose from and also options for vegetarians! They helped us with booking the jeep desert safari that was a very nice experience. I really recommend this place!

We stayed for one night at a bubble tent, it was great, and was very clean. The jeep tour for 4 hours was sensational, and the dinner with zarb was tasty.t. Nice staff made the whole experience of Wadi rum worth it.

The staff was very friendly. Mohammed made us feel like family and went above and beyond in every way. He planned an entire itinerary for us the day we showed up and it blew us away.

The bubble tent is clean and tidy. We were sick in stomach after 2 weeks of travels and didn’t have expectations on the food at the camp, but the roasted chicken and dinner were really amazing and comfort to our stomach! There are different programs you can join at the camp to explore in the desert. Also Mohammed and his team are very nice and helpful. He helped us to arrange cars to Aqaba/ Dead Sea. We really appreciated his help and his humor!

Camp at desert in summer is tough in general. Consider better time to stay to avoid the extreme heat.

Mohammed, thank you very much. It was the most beautiful stay for us in Jordan. We got all the things we expected. The tent was beautiful and clean and we got amazing views. And the pocket trip was one of the most beautiful things. We saw the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum, and we saw an amazing sun set, and dinner was one of the best meals. It was delicious and the star trip was also a lot of beautiful things. I promise you that I will be back as soon as possible.

Mohammad and his family were exceptional hosts ensuring we were happy and well looked after at all times. The camp was in a great location away from the main road and away from other camps thereby giving you a fantastic desert experience. The excursions on offer were varied and we opted for the Movie tour, the sunset tour and also the night stargazing one all of which were memorable experiences. The meals consisted of fresh salads and dips as well as a variety of mains for lunch and dinner. The Zerb was exceptional as was the maqlooba. Staying here will be one of the best decisions you will make. We are definitely coming back to see more of this magical place.
