Ithaca Ubud Villa

Love the private and exclusive villa and Nyoman is very kinda and helpful.

Ithaca Villa is a beautiful traditional wooden villa, full of character and refined details. It is wonderfully managed by Nyoman’s family, who take care of both their guests and their beautiful home with genuine attention, dedication, and warmth. In a Bali already filled with kind people, they still manage to stand out for their warmth, care, and authenticity. The villa is set within a real Balinese village, which makes it particularly special for anyone looking for an authentic atmosphere. At the same time, it is close to the rice fields and to some of the most beautiful landscapes around Ubud. Ubud town center is quite close, around 3 to 4 km away, although it is not really walkable, as walking along the road is not ideal. On the other hand, Grab or Gojek arrive very quickly, usually within a couple of minutes, and for just 2 or 3 euros you can easily reach the center. At night, you can hear the sounds of the local surroundings: dogs in the street, a few roosters, and some traffic from the nearby road. I am a light sleeper, but even so, I was still able to sleep well.

What did we like about this place? Everything, it is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Let me start with food, the food was made literally fresh everyday with ingredients from their own backyard, it was very flavorful. The host was very very kind and friendly. The place was very clean and private and quiet, you can see the effort that was put into making this place perfect and it is perfect. The villa itself is big and the bed was very comfortable, the facilities were modern and new. As far as location you are 20 minutes away from every attraction and location.

Очень радушные собственники, вкусные завтраки и приятное отношение! Очень чисто, постоянно меняли полотенца, и вообще было очень хорошо!

Единственный минус, немного шумно, тк рядом храм, но это не принесло сильного дискомфорта.

A fantastic new villa with a beautiful pool! Location is not too far away from central Ubud - which can be accessed by Gojek.

Es una villa maravillosa,amplia,cómoda,limpia.Una piscina que es una maravilla cuando llegas cansado y sudado de todo el día paseando por Ubud.Nyoman,el anfitrión,es súper amable y pendiente de que no te falte nada.Los desayunos son abundantes y muy buenos.Puedes elegir entre varios y te los sirven a la hora convenida en la villa.Tiene servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto que va muy bien,sales del aeropuerto y te lleva directamente a la villa después de día y medio de aeropuertos y vuelos.Nosotros hemos querido alargar la estancia y Nyoman se ha ocupado de buscarnos un sitio similar ya que con el no podíamos.Sin lugar a dudas repetiríamos

There were so many positives that they are difficult to enummerate. The host was always available, responsive and solution directed. He was very friendly and spoke English well. His family was also very friendly and helpful. The villa is gorgeous with a pool, privacy, very functional and pleasing living quarters. Daily cleaning was meticulous. Fresh flowers were placed daily. At our request, he arranged for a driver--Suka-- who was a delight and he also served as a guide. The breakfasts were not included but for 100,000 rupia (roughly 7 dollars) you received an omelette, bowl of fresh fruit, coffee, and toast. The best part for us was interacting with an extended Balinese family.

The only down side was the location near a busy road. If you are a light sleeper the sounds of traffic and dogs might be problematic. This downside was out weighed by the positives described above. II should mention that the Royal Pita Maha Hotel is very close by. We walked there every evening as the road to the hotel ( once off the main road) is quiet and pretty. The Wada Lounge is part of the hotel and it is an excellent restaurant. We ate there every night. They will give a 20 percent discount for return customers. The food, ambience, and views are to die for.
