Roiss Haus Suites

Location was great, right in the old town, and everything we did in the town was walking distance. We didn’t expect to have a sauna and steam room in the room, not that we used them….it was just too hot outside. But in cooler months these would be great. The room itself had beautiful high vaulted ceilings, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good. When we asked for tea (we are not coffee drinkers) we were presented with a box of PG Tips, perfect! We slept well, no noise from the street below.

There is no lift up to the apartment, it is an old building after all. William was there to help us with our cases when we arrived, but we had to take them down ourselves as we left early this morning. Also the bed is on a mezzanine with a flight of stairs up to it so not good for visitors with mobility issues. Not a problem for us, but this is for info.

Great design

Excellent location in the heart of historic Lecce. You are staying in converted Palazzo built in the 1600s with hand painted ceilings from the early 1900s, it is really incredible. A short walk up stairs to the suite. Very modern tasteful renovation, clean modern bathroom. We stayed in one of the large suites which had a wrap around balcony overlooking the adjacent church and streets below. A special accommodation and good value for money.

Air conditioning perhaps struggled a little given the size of the room (it was 35 deg C outside temp on the days we stayed for reference) - only criticism from a wonderful stay.

It's an amazing place at the heart of Lecce. The flat was beautifully decorated. The owner Guglielmo was very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful apartment with an excellent location. Convenient for the old town and for the railway station. Guigliemo was a perfect host, helpful and welcoming.
