Blue Bell Cottage

The home was very comfortable and clean. Had all the relevant and needed amenities for me and my friends. We had a wonderful stay.

Nothing - everything was perfect for us.

The kitchen was fantastic, well equipped and clean. High chair and stair gate available too. Free WiFi for us to access Netflix in the evening. The church outside was quaint and lovely to listen to. Location was great for short trip to Robin Hood festival and go ape. The bath was clean and a luxury to have a spa feature. Parking wasn't a problem and always had space in front of the cottage. The vintage photos of the cottage and surrounding area was a nice touch, I enjoyed looking at th all. House was easy to get in and out and room for pushchair at the bottom of the stairs . Short walk to McDonald's and a quiet memorial park with a river. Although we didn't use them there was some facilities for a bbq, pond dipping, and a picnic. Which is a great touch. There was also a jar of treats for families with dogs.

Nothing too big to complain about. We could not find the games console which was advertised, to which my son was a bit upset with. And the dart board is quite worn and broken darts. The stairs were a little steeper than I thought as it spirals down. My son had slipped down them on the second day (he's OK, just a few bruises).

Great facilities and plenty of space in all 3 bedrooms. The bathroom was very spacious and the kitchen was modern. Would definitely recommend Blue Bell Cottage and will be staying again.

This was a lovely little cottage and perfect for our weekend away for a friend's wedding. Fairly well stocked kitchen though missing a few things. Essentials definitely there and beds were comfy! Good size for what we wanted.

We had a great bbq down by the stream but had to find own wood as it was not supplied as mentioned.

Very close to A1 and local pub which was what we needed.

Need to improve cleaning and bathroom tray or shower! Whenever using shower is loads of water come out
