Ideally located in the heart of the city. Excellent facilities and a very thoughtful host who had added all manner of additional, material comforts to the kitchen and bathroom.

Although the stairs are certainly referred to in the publicity, viewers need to pay close attention this aspect. There are 55 steep, high, stone steps up to the apartment and this has to be factored in.

Lots of stairs to get up with luggage. But you only do it on arrival and departure.

The apartment is really lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay and it's well located in a quiet part of town. Gianluca was very helpful during our stay with recommendations for local places to visit and places to eat. I would definitely love to return one day and highly recommend if you're coming to beautiful Lucca!

nothing... but just be aware that the apartment is on the top floor so quite a few stairs to climb!

Fabulous apartment. Great decor, very clean, and has everything that is needed for a self-contained stay. Gianluca really helpful including picking us up from the train station in the rain! We counted 57 steps from ground level into the apartment and if you are ok with this we would highly recommend this apartment.

Very Spacious, everything you would need and more in the kitchen and bathroom. Owners very obliging and stored our baggage until the apartment was ready. Breakfast and water provided for us. Excellent location.

Be prepared for some steep stairs to the apartment which is on the second floor. It would be helpful to have the apartment name on the outside door, there is only the family name which we didn’t know at the time.

Amazing amazing amazing accomodation. Gorgeous little house in an excellent location. If you have mobility issues you’ll unfortunately have to give this place a miss because the stairs would be unmanageable, but if you don’t, we couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. The host was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Excellent wifi which the 10 & 12 year olds appreciated, excellent aircon, comfortable bed (the sofa bed was ok), thoughtful breakfast provisions were a really lovely surprise, and the shower is fab. There’s a great little coffee shop about 50m away, and an excellent trattoria about 100m away. Everything is within walking distance.

Really nice apartment, right in the centre of Lucca, air conditioned and with all the facilities and equipment we needed. The host, Gianluca couldn’t have been more helpful, and when there was a problem with the apartment, he had it fixed within two hours. Overall, a really excellent stay.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but the apartment is at the top of a building, reached by steep stairs . It might be an issue for some travellers to be aware of though!
