Kassapa Home Stay

Very warm welcome with a juice and cookies. Owners are very sweet and are willing to do everything for you. We needed a tuktuk and in two minutes time we had a driver. (who took us around Sigirya for the duration of the stay). The room is simple but with the things you need. A bed, towels, musquito net, airco and a basic bathroom with warm water! Breakfast was amazing! Too many things to chose from! And everytime we came back from an activity or walk they welcomed us with a fresh juice. If you like to feel more a local this is the place to be!

The host was super friendly and helpful 🙌🏽😊 the location is perfect as you can walk to the main attractions. Also you may be able to hear or see elephants 🐘 during the evening. Breakfast was spectacular, very good portions - I love it! It also has hot water in case you need it 😅

Every guest will be amazed by the breakfast here. We traveled to Colombo, Ella, Galle, Anudharapura, Mirissa, etc. in Sri Lanka. The breakfast here was the best breakfast in Sri Lankan accommodation. Various fruits, rich dishes, fresh fruit juice and coffee, etc. We were full just from breakfast. The welcome juice and snacks were also fantastic! And most of all, the friendly owner couple made my stay here comfortable. I will definitely recommend my friends to book this place. Tip: If you need a tuk-tuk at 5am, ask the owner in advance and he will make the reservation for you.

Ants in bathroom. it's a country house not a city building, so we could understand this much.

The location is nearby the restaurants and I can see wild birds behind our room. There are little frogs that was in our washroom that is so cute. The bathroom smells good.

The hosts here are amazing and beautiful people. We were provided with a huge breakfast (included in the price) that changed daily including a variety of fresh fruit, pancakes, omelette, coconut rotti, pastries, noodles, toast, jam with Tea, coffee and juice. Upon arrival and each afternoon we were offered tea and juice. We originally booked for two nights but within a couple of hours being there we loved the place and extended by another night. We came back saturated from climbing Pidurangala rock and our hosts set up washing lines under shelter for the night and then the next day transferred them to a line out in their rice field in the sunshine. There are two rooms that are in a dwelling seperate from the main residence which were extremely clean and comfortable. Our family rented out both rooms and it felt extremely private and like it was our own little slice of Sri Lanka. Air con and wifi were great and the hot water, clean sheets,towels and toiletries were very much appreciated. Do yourselves a favour and book this place NOW!
