We enjoyed that the check-in & check-out process was easy & quick. The renters were polite and quick to respond to any questions. The location was also close to multiple local businesses & restaurants which we loved. I loved getting to sign and doodle a page in their guest book.

We wished there was a stovetop or more appliances available. We bought groceries to save money on meal and were unable to cook most of the items we wanted to. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience, just a suggestion.

Super comfortable place and very thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need: clothespins - toothpicks - toilet room spray - dish soap - etc. Mary, the host was very helpful when we had a few questions and when we first arrived but then gave us privacy for the rest of the trip while also checking in to make sure we were ok. Bed was very comfy and the shower had excellent pressure. Great neighborhood to for a run while admiring the cute houses with their spring gardens.

Bedding was laundered in scented detergent or fabric softener. I’m EXTREMELY sensitive to odors so would strongly recommend using fragrance free products. It even rubbed off on my clothes that I put out on the bed.

This space was perfect! I was in Portland for a course, so I was mostly out, but the Secret Garden was a safe, quiet landing. It is in a great location with much to do and eat.

Absolutely everything! Exceptionally clean, and in a lovely area. Was delightful to see all the Christmas lights on the houses around. And a short walk to Mt Tabor for refreshing morning walks. Close to a wide variety of shops & eateries.

Only thing that could have made it better would be a king size bed versus a queen
