Location was good, friendly cleaning staff but reception staff not helpful.

. Absolutely horrible experience. I booked as a solo traveller, but the moment the receptionist saw me with a visitor, I was charged an additional 2,000 KSH every single time. It felt less like hospitality and more like a money-making scheme. The most frustrating part is that I immediately asked to be moved to a room for two people. Despite already staying in a room with a king-size bed, my request was completely ignored. No effort was made to help, no flexibility was shown, and my concerns seemed to fall on deaf ears. Being repeatedly charged simply for having a visitor was unreasonable and left a very bitter taste. I have travelled extensively and have never experienced anything quite like this. I will never stay at this hotel again, not in a million years. Anyone considering booking here should be aware of this policy before making a reservation, otherwise you may find yourself facing unexpected charges and the same disappointing treatment I received. I need to add this, bedsheets look like 6 or 7 years old, and would be great if they could change these as often as possible given they are charging a fortune.

It was an excellent stay at the hotel. The cleanliness level was very high specially at the bathrooms as it has shattaf (the bidet shower) and this rarely in Kenya. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and they helped me to arrange my trips in Nairobi and the safaris. The room service was professional and helpful. The location is also excellent in Kilimani neighbourhood where everything is near by. Thanks for everything and hope to see you again.
